In this role, you'll take the lead in growing our presence across a region, building strong relationships with venues, retailers, and community partners who share our values.

You'll be a key ambassador for our mission to support people with lived experience of the criminal justice system and champion inclusive employment.

This is a dynamic, outward‐facing role for someone who thrives on connection, storytelling, and building a brand with purpose.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and grow a portfolio of on‐premise and off‐premise accounts aligned with Tap Social's mission
  • Conduct regular account visits to ensure excellent service, introduce new products, and maintain strong brand visibility
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities with venues and retailers who value socially conscious brands
  • Lead tastings, samplings, and community‐focused events to share Tap Social's story and deepen customer engagement
  • Represent Tap Social at festivals, tap takeovers, trade shows, and mission‐driven events
  • Monitor sales performance, track placements, and gather market insights to support strategic decision‐making
  • Work closely with the brewery, marketing, and operations teams to support product launches and promotional campaigns
  • Ensure all accounts reflect our brand values through quality displays, signage, and product freshness
  • Act as a knowledgeable, enthusiastic advocate for our social‐justice mission in every interaction

What We're Looking For

  • A genuine passion for indie beer and a strong alignment with Tap Social's social‐justice ethos
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build authentic, long‐lasting relationships
  • A proactive, self‐motivated approach with strong organisational skills
  • Confidence working independently while staying connected to a collaborative team
  • Ability to lift and move cases/kegs when required
  • Reliable transportation, as you'll need to travel, and a clean driving record
  • Previous sales or beverage industry experience is highly beneficial, but a commitment to our mission and a willingness to learn are equally important
  • Schedule & Compensation
  • Full‐time role, typically 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility for events and evening/weekend activities
  • Salary window £27,500-£30,000 depending on experience, plus commission
  • You'll be joining a competitive commission programme based on stretching targets in addition to the base salary.
  • Other benefits may include beer allowance, event access, professional development opportunities, and the chance to grow within a purpose‐driven organisation.
  • Why Join Us
  • Tap Social Movement isn't just a brewery, it's a social enterprise using business as a force for good.

We create meaningful employment opportunities for people with lived experience of the criminal justice system and work to challenge perceptions through great beer, community spaces, and advocacy.

By joining our team, you'll help amplify a mission that changes lives, strengthens communities, and proves that business can be bold, inclusive, and socially impactful.

If you want your work to matter as much as the beer you're sharing, you'll feel right at home here
