Mobile Security Officer - Nights 7pm-7am 4 on/4 off, (Liverpool based but will be working predominantly in Manchester area) Job Summary: Responsible for patrolling multiple locations to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and assets. This role requires vigilance, quick response to incidents, and strong observational skills. Officers will operate company manual vehicles and must be comfortable working independently and in varying environments. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct mobile patrols of premises and properties to deter and detect suspicious activity. • Respond promptly to alarms, security breaches, and emergency situations. • Conduct thorough inspections of premises, doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secure. • Maintain detailed reports of incidents, patrols, and any security-related occurrences. • Assist with crowd control, access control, and loss prevention when required. • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of security vehicles. • Locking and unlocking buildings, inspecting the perimeter, disarming alarms, and granting access to authorized personnel. Requirements: • Previous experience in security preferred. • Valid security DS or SG license. • Valid manual driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Strong observational and problem-solving skills. • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations professionally. • Excellent communication and report-writing skills. • Availability to work 12-hour night shifts on a 4 on 4 off rotation form 1900 – 0700hrs. Preferred Qualifications: • First Aid/CPR certification. • Experience in conflict resolution or de-escalation techniques. Please note, applicants must be Liverpool based and be prepared to travel to Manchester, have a manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points. Good knowledge of Manchester and Liverpool areas a distinct advantage.
