An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Personal Injury Secretary / Administrative Assistant to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Chichester.

Working within a busy Personal Injury team, you will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to fee earners, ensuring matters progress efficiently while delivering an excellent standard of client care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing legal correspondence and documentation through audio and copy typing
  • Liaising with clients, experts, Counsel, witnesses and the courts
  • Managing diaries, appointments and telephone enquiries
  • Preparing mail and legal documentation for dispatch
  • Using case management and time recording systems
  • Checking documents for accuracy and maintaining confidential files
  • Providing general administrative support to the Personal Injury team
About You
  • Previous legal secretarial or administrative experience is essential
  • Experience within Personal Injury is preferred but not essential
  • Excellent audio and copy typing skills
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills
  • Experience using Proclaim would be advantageous, although full training will be provided
