TannerMAP works with pharmaceutical companies to develop and deliver access programs enabling patients with unmet medical needs access to medicines in countries where those medicines are not commercially available. These access programs may be referred to as Named Patient, Expanded Access, Early Access, or Compassionate Use Programs. To help drive and support this growth, TannerMAP is seeking a Managed Access Program Manager.
Role Accountabilities
- Design and develop managed access programs through collaboration with prospective pharmaceutical company partners including:
- Support in the definition of inclusion/exclusion criteria and other program requirements.
- Participate in discussions on overall pricing strategy and implications.
- Educate on program regulatory requirements for countries in scope.
- Provide input on projected program participation rates.
Desired Candidate Profile & Capabilities
- Required: BS or Master’s degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry or consulting, preferably in a market access, commercial, medical, clinical, or R&D role.
- Previous experience with the design, setup, and execution of a managed access program preferred.
- Clear proficiency in project management skills including ability to develop a project plan, lead periodic review meetings with clients, and hold internal and external parties accountable to meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge and interest in oncology or rare diseases.
- Basic understanding of the drug development process.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders internally with Tanner and externally with clients.
- Pharmaceutical supply chain knowledge helpful.
- Proficiency with computer programs including Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong command of the English language including concise, clear, and error-free written grammar.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%.
