We are seeking an exceptional Account Manager to join our Brand PR team, offering the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our account directors and executives to deliver exceptional results, primarily for B2B clients. Responsibilities Include:

  • Day-to-day management of PR account executives on allocated accounts.
  • Weekly catch-up meetings on allocated accounts.
  • Day-to-management and client communications of allocated accounts.
  • Liaising with the media and clients on a daily basis.
  • Distributing press releases/features/comments etc.
  • Handling data collection and analysis for campaign content.
  • Monitoring client coverage.
  • Attendance at client meetings when required.
  • Event attendance when required.
  • Biweekly team meeting attendance and account catch ups.
  • Writing campaign copy / press releases / features / awards submissions / general copy.
  • Assisting the account director / senior account manager on allocated accounts to manage client reporting procedures, i.e. audits.
  • Providing regular updates to account directors / senior account managers on day-to-day work.
  • Mentoring allocated member(s) of staff, if required.
  • General assistance to the senior team.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • 1+ years experience in a similar role, managing PR client accounts or managing campaigns within an internal marketing team.
  • Adept at content writing and able to draft copy for blogs, press releases and outreach emails with an attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, able to continuously drive opportunities for clients.
  • Ability to deep-dive into a client’s specialty area.
  • Understanding of the media landscape and key industry trends.
  • Ability to predict audience preferences with a journalistic mindset.
  • Proactive approach and able to create and keep opportunities moving for clients.
  • Willingness to embrace new challenges, operate in fast moving environments, and maintain a proactive and energetic approach.
