Oikos are seeking a proactive and hands-on Health & Safety Advisor to support our HSEQ Manager in ensuring the safe and compliant operation of their Upper Tier COMAH facility at Canvey Island, Essex, UK. The role has a strong focus on occupational health & safety, while also contributing to process safety management and supporting continuous improvement across the site.

The successful candidate will bring a practical approach to workplace safety, with the confidence to engage colleagues at all levels, and the technical knowledge to support regulatory compliance in a high-hazard industry.

The role requires the user to utilize IT skills across a multi-sited organization, dealing with up to 180 users at all levels, from those with little IT knowledge in our Operations team to Members of the Board. There is a requirement to develop strong relationships with all stakeholders within the Company and maintain exceptionally high standards of probity and confidence.

Some travel with overnight stays to our other UK sites may be required; therefore a full (preferably) clean driving licence is required.
