An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced QA/QC Site Inspector to join a large-scale Solar PV construction project currently in the delivery phase.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct field inspections across civil, mechanical, and electrical installation activities including piling/ramming, mounting structures, module installation, cabling, trenching, foundations, and internal roads.
  • Verify compliance with manufacturer installation manuals, technical specifications, and internal construction quality procedures.
  • Inspect torque markings, mounting sequences, and cable management to ensure adherence to supplier requirements.
  • Maintain material traceability records for all delivered and installed components.
  • Support the preparation and management of project quality documentation, checklists, ITPs, and technical records.
  • Identify and report technical non-conformities or potential quality risks to project management and QA/QC leadership.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven QA/QC experience on utility-scale Solar PV projects.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and construction specifications.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and site documentation control.
  • Fluent English required. Spanish or German language skills would be advantageous.

Additional Requirements

  • A site-ready 4x4 vehicle suitable for construction site access, including fuel, insurance, and associated running costs.
  • Laptop and reliable internet/mobile connectivity for reporting and communication purposes.

Commercial Terms

Candidates must provide an all-inclusive daily or monthly rate covering: Labour/services, Vehicle provision and running costs, IT equipment and connectivity, Any associated business expenses.
