An established and highly regarded digital technology business is seeking an experienced PHP Developer with strong Laravel expertise to join its growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of technically interesting projects for an international client base. The work spans modern web applications, data-driven platforms, eCommerce solutions, and innovative products incorporating technologies such as AI, machine learning, and immersive digital experiences.

The Opportunity

You will join a collaborative team working primarily with Laravel and related modern front-end technologies. The environment encourages clean code, continuous improvement, and exposure to a wide variety of technologies and project types.

Key Requirements

  • Strong commercial experience with PHP and Laravel
  • Good understanding of recognised coding standards and best practices
  • Experience with modern Laravel-based tooling, including Livewire and utility-first CSS frameworks
  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, React, Angular, or Alpine.js
  • Solid understanding of MySQL and relational database design
  • Front-end development skills including HTML, CSS, and responsive design
  • Experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Version control using Git
  • Exposure to Docker and automated deployment pipelines
  • Comfortable working within Linux-based environments
  • Knowledge of modern web server architecture
