How to prepare for a job interview at Tank Recruitment

Know Your Delphi Inside Out

Make sure you brush up on your Delphi (Object Pascal) skills before the interview. Be ready to discuss your past projects and how you've used VCL or FireMonkey in real-world applications. This will show that you’re not just familiar with the language, but that you can apply it effectively.

Showcase Your SQL Skills

Since MS SQL Server experience is key for this role, prepare to talk about your SQL projects. Have examples ready where you’ve optimised queries or managed databases. This will demonstrate your technical prowess and problem-solving abilities.

Familiarise Yourself with AI Tools

If you have experience with AI development tools like Claude, make sure to highlight that. Discuss any relevant projects where you integrated AI into your work. This could set you apart from other candidates who may not have this experience.

Understand REST APIs and Modern Practices

Even though .NET exposure is a nice-to-have, being knowledgeable about REST APIs and modern web development practices can give you an edge. Brush up on these topics and be prepared to discuss how they relate to Delphi development.
