On behalf of a key client, we are resourcing for an experienced Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale solutions built on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. In this role, you will act as the bridge between business and technology, working closely with stakeholders across architecture, development, operations, and delivery teams to design secure, scalable, and future-proof solutions.
What you will be doing:
- Act as a key liaison between customers, analysts, architects, developers, operations, and delivery teams.
- Produce and review architectural designs, diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Lead the successful implementation and adoption of enterprise-scale solutions.
- Assess and quantify technical risks, clearly communicating impacts and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure designs align with business strategy, operational needs, and long-term maintainability.
- Design solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
- Ensure compliance with information security standards, GDPR, and organisational DR/infrastructure requirements.
- Embed non-functional requirements such as performance, usability, resilience, and supportability.
What we are looking for:
- Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, particularly in Field Service, Customer Service / Customer Engagement, and Enterprise Asset Management.
- Solid understanding of the D365 application stack and wider Microsoft ecosystem.
- Significant experience in systems design and development methodologies, with a focus on reuse and maintainability.
- Supportable, well-documented designs.
- Experience working with architecture best-practice methodologies and modelling tools.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycles, IT service management (e.g. ITIL), and information security best practices.
- Desirable experience with mobile development technologies.
Technology experience:
- You will ideally have hands-on design experience with some of the following: Microsoft Dynamics Field Service, Field Service Mobile, Microsoft Dynamics Customer Engagement, Microsoft Dynamics Supply Chain Management, Finance and Operations, Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Azure, Integration technologies (Logic Apps, Power Automate, BizTalk, Scribe), Microsoft 365 / SharePoint.
