- Job Overview
We are seeking an organised and proactive Construction Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support across our tank construction operations.
The role will support Project Managers, Site Teams, Procurement, and Senior Management by ensuring project documentation, compliance records, health & safety documentation, and business administration activities are maintained accurately and efficiently.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of bolted steel and reinforced concrete storage tank projects, helping to ensure projects operate smoothly, safely, and in compliance with company and client requirements.
- General Administration
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Construction and Operations teams.
- Manage incoming emails, correspondence, and telephone enquiries.
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper filing systems.
- Assist with data entry and updating company management systems.
- Provide administrative support for meetings, including preparation of documents and minutes.
- Undertake ad hoc administrative duties as required.
- Project & Operations Support
- Maintain and update project files, drawings, reports, and site documentation.
- Support Project Managers with the preparation and control of project documentation.
- Produce and maintain project compliance documentation.
- Assist with travel, accommodation, and equipment bookings for site personnel.
- Coordinate project information between site teams, suppliers, and office staff.
- Document & Data Management
- Maintain accurate digital and physical records for all projects.
- Ensure project documentation is correctly filed and easily accessible.
- Assist with quality, inspection, and handover documentation.
- Monitor document revisions and maintain document control procedures.
- Support the preparation and collation of client and project reporting requirements.
- Health & Safety Administration
- Assist with the preparation of site Health & Safety documentation, including Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and COSHH records from approved templates.
- Maintain training records and update the company training matrix.
- Notify relevant personnel when training or certifications require renewal.
- Issue weekly Toolbox Talks and monitor completion and filing.
- Maintain employee and subcontractor compliance records.
