Hagley Windows & Doors is a leading provider of window & door solutions to the South Island building industry and has been operating for over 50 years. We have a reputation for excellence, innovation and sustainability.
Our experienced team of 160 operates from a high-class & purpose built facility in Waterloo Business Park and work on a range of projects right across the South Island from new homes, window replacements to large scale commercial construction projects.
You will be part of a 6 person, professional delivery team and you will be responsible for assisting with loading of our manufactured product to our trucks, trailers and other delivery vehicles. At times, you will be accompanying our drivers to site.
Your hours of work will be 7.30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
Your duties will include:
- Safely load and secure aluminium windows and doors to various delivery vehicles.
- Providing professional and friendly service to all customers and site personnel.
- Assisting with delivery of commercial installation equipment.
- Supporting the warehouse team in organising and storing of finished goods.
- Ensuring all vehicles are kept clean, well maintained and safe for operation.
To be considered for this role, you'll need to be:
- Proven experience as a delivery driver.
- Hold a full drivers licence.
- Good geographical knowledge of Christchurch and Canterbury region.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely.
- Genuine desire to deliver a positive experience for our customers.
- Enjoy working as part of a team.
- Courteous to other road users.
- Punctual.
- Have problem-solving skills.
- Have strong attention to detail to ensure compliance with delivery schedules.
- A citizen or resident of New Zealand.
