HVAC Ducting Installer required throughout the Canterbury region! OneStaff is seeking experienced HVAC Ducting Installers. Reliability and motivation are essential. Flexibility to work across the country is preferred to assist with various projects.
The typical duties include:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications to establish job requirements
- Installing and assembling ductwork for HVAC systems according to specifications
- Preparing tools and equipment needed for installation
- Measuring, cutting, and shaping ductwork using hand and power tools
- Designing and installing duct fittings for proper system functionality
- Inspecting and repairing existing duct systems for airflow and efficiency
- Operating hand and power tools required for HVAC installation
- Maintaining tools and equipment in safe condition
- Adhering to health and safety measures at work
- Performing other duties as assigned
Pay rate: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on experience. Hours: Minimum of 30 hours guaranteed per week.
Skills and experience required include:
- At least 2.5 years of relevant Ducting/HVAC experience or a relevant qualification
- Good time management and work ethic
- Flexibility to work in various locations across New Zealand
- A commitment to safety and continuous learning
- Reliability and hardworking attitude
