About the company:mcl contracting is a family owned and operated business, based in West Melton. We employ a fantastic team of specialised staff to assist clients with a range of commercial works, residential and lifestyle property needs.
One of our specialty services is commercial civil works. We are experienced in a wide range of subdivision construction, playgrounds, sports fields and roading construction.
About the role:We are looking for experienced Machine Operator/Truck Driver to join our team. If you love the outdoors and want the opportunity to grow, then apply today.
Role requirements:- WTR endorsement and Class 4 Driver’s licence- Operating experience (rollers, loaders, excavators)- Competent truck driver (hill experience would be beneficial)- Reliable and punctual team member who’s also willing to get stuck in on the ground- Be a team player with a positive attitude- Have good communication skills
Some of your day-to-day tasks will include:- Drainage - trenching, backfilling and digging around services- Final trim excavations to low tolerances- Kerb and channel and footpath preparation and construction- Earthworks cut and fill
- Truck driving
