We’re on the hunt for skilled Excavator Operators who know their way around a machine but are also willing to get stuck in on the ground. This is a great opportunity with a respected civil contractor offering consistent hours, a supportive team environment, and long-term potential.
About the Role:
- Operate 5T–20T excavators across drainage, roading, and earthworks projects
- Assist with ground tasks such as pipe work, spotting, and general labouring when machines are not in use
- Support the site team to meet project deadlines and daily targets
- Work a minimum of 45 hours per week
Key Duties:
- Trenching, backfilling, and site preparation
- Digging around services and reading site plans
- Assisting drainage crews and spotting for machinery
- Liaising with the site foreman to ensure job progression
