What the Role Looks LikeWe’re looking for an experienced Class 5 Operator to join our highly skilled and dynamic team, operating a top-notch fleet.
The diversity of our Crane fleet is second-to-none. We specialise in all industries which keeps our modern fleet of Crane trucks busy. Our dynamic Crane Division transports diverse loads for our customers within New Zealand; no day is ever the same!
This position will see you operating a purpose-built truck with a Palfinger Crane Unit based out of Timaru. The role requires you to work away from home for the majority of the week (typically Monday to Friday), with nightshift or weekend work as required.
For this role, we are seeking a capable, experienced operator who will exceed our customers’ expectations and provide a high level of service as the rest of our team do.
Your attention to safety, maintenance, and vehicle operation will reflect the high standards our loyal customers and suppliers expect.
Work PatternFull-time, permanent role with a regular roster:
- Dayshift
- Monday – Friday with weekend work as required
- Average shift: 10-12 hours
What You Bring to the Table
- Class 5 Licence (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years driving / crane operating experience
- NZQA Unit Standard 16617
- F, DG endorsement and OSH Certificate (preferred, but not essential)
- Strong geographical knowledge of the Canterbury region
- Day and night shift experience – you\’re flexible and reliable
- A knack for learning new technology – show us your adaptability!
