Our Hastings-based client is seeking a reliable, safety-focused Forklift Driver to join their team. This role involves operating a large-scale forklift, requiring a Class 2 driver\’s license. It is a physically demanding position, ideal for someone fit, committed, and available to work for at least five months, with potential for ongoing employment.

Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Start Date: Mid-July | Duration: 5+ Months
Pay Rate: $31.05 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate large-scale forklifts to assist production
- Support general production tasks
- Strictly adhere to health and safety procedures
- Remain alert around machinery in active work zones
Qualifications and Requirements:
- OSHA Forklift Licence, Class 2 Driver\’s Licence, and F endorsement (required)
- Physically fit and able to work on your feet
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test
- Ability to pass Ministry of Justice background check
- Provide two professional references
- Legal right to work in New Zealand
