We are seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Site Engineer to join our client\’s team working on drainage and infrastructure projects across the South Island. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality civil works while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise on-site construction and engineering activities
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Monitor progress, ensure project timelines and budgets are met
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders
- Conduct site inspections and ensure health & safety compliance
- Provide technical support to the project engineer and site leads
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor\’s degree in Civil Engineering (minimum qualification)
- 2+ years of civil/site engineering experience (NZ experience preferred)
- Solid understanding of NZ construction codes and standards
- Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD, and relevant tools
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with Three Waters and drainage is preferred
