Southway Transport is a reputable transport company specialising in delivering a reliable, quality service throughout the South Island. We are seeking a well organised, detail-oriented, friendly person to join our Admin team.
The Role includes:
- Assist in daily administrative tasks to support transport operations.
- Communication with drivers, customers, and suppliers.
- First point of contact for customer service enquiries via phone and email, providing quotations and tracking.
- Collating paperwork, pricing, scanning and filing.
- Data input, process invoices, manage and complete monthly KPI reports to key customers.
What You’ll Need:
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in the transport/logistics sector.
- Excellent time management skills with a proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in MYOB AccountRight, Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Quick and accurate data entry skills & calculations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Communicate with our valued customers and suppliers professionally and promptly with a friendly, helpful phone manner or email response.
- A bright, positive and energetic disposition.
