This position offers an amazing opportunity to build sponsor oversight capabilities in a pioneering RNAi/oligonucleotide platform biotech. You will lead the planning, execution, and oversight of early clinical development programmes, combining strategic vision with hands-on involvement. Working closely with CROs, investigators, and internal teams, you will ensure the successful delivery of high-quality clinical trials in a lean and agile environment. • Act as the primary sponsor contact for CROs, investigators, and providers, driving performance and accountability.
  • Oversee CRO performance: review monitoring reports, assess data quality and compliance, and conduct co-monitoring visits as required.
  • Partner with Regulatory Affairs on ethics/regulatory submissions; ensure compliance with ICH-GCP and applicable UK/EU regulations, staying current with forthcoming UK clinical trials regulations.
  • Maintain trial inspection readiness, overseeing documentation, safety reporting, vendor governance and audit response.
  • Support development of protocols, informed consent forms, case report forms, and study reports ensuring operational feasibility and data integrity.
  • Drive risk management, issue resolution, and cross-functional collaboration in a lean, agile environment.
