We are currently recruiting for a permanent Mechanical Maintenance Technician to work at a leading, state of the art manufacturing site. It's working for a very well-established company that has a long-term order book, so job security there is strong. Duties
- Perform detailed preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with schedules
- Fault diagnosis and rectification on all plant and equipment within a set area
- Quickly and safely diagnosing faults, delivering minimum downtime
- Assisting with installation and project works
- Seeking areas for improvement, and looking for long-term solutions to recurring faults
Experience Required
- Suitably qualified mechanically - Time-served, HNC, NVQL3, etc.
- Experience within manufacturing is essential
- Strong logical fault-finding ability
