We are excited to be recruiting a permanent Brake Press Operator for a local manufacturer, where there is strong scope for progression. It's working days regular with very sociable hours and an early finish on Fridays. Their products are in demand, with a very fast-growing and sustainable order book.

Duties

  • Setting and operating press brake machinery
  • Interpret engineering drawings to produce accurate work
  • Carry out regular quality inspections to ensure quality of work
  • Changing and adjusting press brake tooling as required
  • Keeping a safe and clean working environment

Experience Required

  • Experience within a similar role
  • Meticulous attention to detail to minimise waste
  • Experience in using measuring equipment
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
