We are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer with a strong heritage in South Wales. With a robust order book and a diverse customer base, the business continues to go from strength to strength. They are now looking to appoint a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to play a key role in keeping production running safely and efficiently. This position is focused on maximising equipment reliability and minimising downtime across the site.
Duties:
- Carry out both planned and reactive maintenance activities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Support production teams to maintain uptime and operational efficiency
- Accurately update maintenance records
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety standards
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience (mechanical bias preferred, though both disciplines will be considered)
- Manufacturing experience is essential
- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Confident decision-maker with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
