We are excited to be recruiting a permanent Brake Press Operator for a local manufacturer, where there is strong scope for progression. It's working days regular with very sociable hours and an early finish on Fridays. Their products are in demand, with a very fast-growing and sustainable order book.
Duties
- Setting and operating press brake machinery
- Interpret engineering drawings to produce accurate work
- Carry out regular quality inspections to ensure quality of work
- Changing and adjusting press brake tooling as required
- Keeping a safe and clean working environment
Experience Required
- Experience within a similar role
- Meticulous attention to detail to minimise waste
- Experience in using measuring equipment
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
