Unreal Engine Tech Artist

Here at Tanglewood Games, we’re always looking for top talent for engineers and tech artists working in Unreal Engine. Whether you’re an intermediate, senior or principal with a passion for Unreal, we’d love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities / focal points include creating and analysing memory and performance captures, auditing scenes, optimising content related to environment art, Niagara VFX and materials, and working to hit frame time targets.

You’ll also have the opportunity to converse with client studios, collaborate with our teams, and solve challenges while growing your career.

Qualifications

  • Proven background as a technical artist on Unreal Engine projects.
  • Deep knowledge of performance trace analysis using tools like Unreal Insights.
  • Strong familiarity with creating and optimising materials and Niagara systems.
  • Background in working with various platforms and platform‑specific tools.
  • Strong capability with editor tools and utility scripting.
