Tangible is a fast-growing, tech-driven platform providing liquidity solutions to LPs and GPs in the private-markets secondaries space. We’re looking for a smart, curious AI-driven Test Automation Engineer who loves breaking systems, automating the boring stuff, and using AI as a daily co‑pilot. This role is heavily Cursor‑driven, focused on building and evolving automated tests using Cypress, while understanding both manual QA procedures and automation principles. You don’t need 10 years of QA experience: we care more about how you think, how fast you learn, and how well you use AI to amplify your impact.
Tasks
- Use Cursor AI as a core tool to design, generate, refactor, and maintain automated tests
- Build and maintain end‑to‑end and regression tests using Cypress
- Translate product requirements and edge cases into reliable test scenarios
- Understand and apply manual testing procedures when automation is not the right tool
- Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to catch issues early
- Continuously improve test coverage, reliability, and execution speed
- Think in user journeys and business flows, not just test cases
- Help shape how AI is used in QA at Tangible
Requirements
- Strong interest in AI‑assisted engineering, especially using Cursor AI
- Hands‑on experience with Cypress (professional or strong personal projects)
- Solid understanding of manual QA processes, test cases, and bug reporting
- Solid understanding of test automation concepts (even if experience is limited)
- Comfortable reading and reasoning about frontend and backend behavior
- Ability to think logically and spot edge cases
- Good English communication (written & spoken)
Big Plus (Not Required)
- Background or exposure to finance, fintech, or deal workflows
- Understanding of concepts like transactions, deals, approvals, investors, or compliance flows
- Curiosity about how AI agents can assist in testing, data validation, and quality checks
Mindset Matters More Than Years
This role is ideal for someone who is:
- AI‑native, not AI‑curious
- Comfortable learning fast and experimenting
- Excited about building smarter testing systems, not just clicking buttons
- Happy working in a startup where impact matters more than titles
