An exciting opportunity – we’re seeking a vibrant, experienced, and passionate Consumer Account Director to join our award-winning team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong earned media background with experience in leading fully integrated campaigns with expertise in PR, social and influencer.
We’re looking for someone that understands what it takes to develop successful consumer communications strategies that affect real change in audience perception to deliver both earned media coverage and strong social results.
You’ll also be actively involved in delivering our growth plans as an agency.
As an Account Director, you will be working closely with your account head to advise and steer market-leading brands, in an environment and with a team that will help you reach your potential and support you in your growth.
- Specifically, your responsibilities will include: Client Relationships
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, providing counsel on marketing and communications strategies including PR and social media.
- Immersing yourself within the client’s businesses, proactively becoming an integral part of the client’s marketing team
- Ensure clients understand Tangerine’s services, maximising growth opportunities.
- Strong Delivery
- Work with the wider team to craft and deliver winning communications strategies to match client briefs.
- Act as a champion for strategic, creative communications for your team that delivers both the client’s brief and KPIs.
- Ensure a high quality of innovative and forward-thinking work is delivered to client timescales.
- Team Management
- Manage a team of communications specialists, acting as a mentor and a coach for the day-to-day operations, with the support of the Associate Director.
- Work closely with other leads on capacity planning, people development and team training.
- You thrive in the agency environment, enjoying the creative challenges, fast pace, and thrill of seeing your strategies brought to life
- You, ideally, have several years’ experience leading a variety of accounts across multiple sectors including FMCG.
- You are experienced in running campaigns that span earned, shared, and owned media, with an in-depth knowledge of traditional and social media landscapes and how to amplify content
- You have experience working in and overseeing Press Office / PR accounts.
- You have experience in influencer engagement and both internal and external stakeholder management
- You are familiar with agency client management and comfortable managing, motivating and guiding teams, nurturing talent internally
- You enjoy crafting organic and new business proposals from small projects to bigger and wider communication strategies
