An exciting opportunity – we’re seeking a vibrant, experienced, and passionate Consumer Account Director to join our award-winning team. We’re looking for someone that understands what it takes to develop successful consumer communications strategies that affect real change in audience perception and behaviour.
As an Account Director, you will be working closely with your account head to advise and steer market-leading brands, specifically our key social account, in an environment and with a team that will help you reach your potential and support you in your growth.
Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Client Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, providing counsel on marketing and communications strategies including PR and social media and how to amplify content through paid. Immersing yourself within the client’s businesses, proactively becoming an integral part of the client’s marketing team. Ensure clients understand Tangerine’s services, maximising growth opportunities.
- Strong Delivery: Work with the wider team to craft and deliver winning communications strategies to match client briefs. Act as a champion for strategic, creative communications for your team that delivers both the client’s brief and KPIs. Ensure a high quality of innovative and forward-thinking work is delivered to client timescales.
- Team Management: Manage a team of communications specialists, acting as a mentor and a coach for the day-to-day operations, with the support of the Associate Director. Work closely with other leads on capacity planning, people development and team training.

- You are familiar with agency client management and comfortable managing, motivating and guiding teams, nurturing talent internally.
