About The Role

We’re looking for a dynamic leader to lead our HR and Recruitment functions and ensure the delivery of ‘brilliant basics’ across all people related processes. This is a pivotal role supporting the Senior Management Team to develop and embed a HR Strategy that drives long-term, profitable growth across Tangerine Group’s divisions. You’ll shape our employer brand, strengthen employee engagement, deliver excellence in people processes and build the talent and capability we need for the future. What You’ll Be Doing

  • HR Leadership
    • Deliver HR excellence across all core processes and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
    • Partner with the Senior Management Team to develop and evolve an HR strategy aligned to business goals.
    • Review and improve company policies with the Head of Legal, staying ahead of employment law changes.
  • Recruitment & Talent
    • Own the full recruitment cycle, ensuring compliant, efficient, and high-quality hiring experiences.
    • Work alongside the Recruitment Business Partner to develop attraction strategies and social media campaigns.
    • Drive employer branding initiatives to position Tangerine Group as a leading employer in the Fylde Peninsula.
    • Ensure all Job Descriptions and Profiles follow the correct SOPs and sign-off processes.
    • Lead our monthly induction and support managers to deliver effective onboarding.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement
    • Promote a positive, supportive working environment.
    • Coach line managers on absence, performance, maternity, paternity and disciplinary processes.
    • Lead on employee engagement, developing an annual programme that enhances communication and recognition.
    • Conduct exit interviews and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Performance Management
    • Support managers in probation reviews, appraisals, and performance improvement plans.
    • Help implement consistent standards across departments.
  • Compensation, Benefits & Compliance
    • Benchmark benefits and make recommendations annually.
    • Support compliance with employment law, company policies, and international office requirements.
    • Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
  • Health & Safety
    • Work with managers to ensure safe working environments and coordinate relevant training.
  • Occasional Duties
    • Attend weekly, monthly, and quarterly management meetings.
    • Travel to other sites when required.
    • Work additional hours when business needs arise.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience & Qualifications
    • Minimum five years’ experience in senior HR leadership (Head of HR / HRBP level).
    • CIPD Level 5 (minimum) or equivalent.
    • Demonstrable experience delivering HR fundamentals in a fast-paced, growing environment.
    • Strong knowledge of employment law, best practice and HR systems.
  • Skills & Attributes
    • High energy, proactive, and adaptable.
    • Able to build credibility quickly with senior stakeholders.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
