The Role

As an Account Director, you will be working closely with your account head to advise and steer market-leading brands, specifically our key social account, in an environment and with a team that will help you reach your potential and support you in your growth.

Specifically, your responsibilities will include

  • Client Relationships
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, providing counsel on marketing and communications strategies including PR and social media and how to amplify content through paid.
  • Immersing yourself within the client's businesses, proactively becoming an integral part of the client's marketing team
  • Ensure clients understand Tangerine's services, maximising growth opportunities.
  • Strong Delivery
  • Work with the wider team to craft and deliver winning communications strategies to match client briefs.
  • Act as a champion for strategic, creative communications for your team that delivers both the client's brief and KPIs.
  • Ensure a high quality of innovative and forward-thinking work is delivered to client timescales.
  • Team Management
  • Manage a team of communications specialists, acting as a mentor and a coach for the day-to-day operations, with the support of the Associate Director.
  • Work closely with other leads on capacity planning, people development and team training.

  • You are familiar with agency client management and comfortable managing, motivating and guiding teams, nurturing talent internally
  • You enjoy crafting organic and new business proposals from small projects to bigger and wider communication strategies
