At Tangent we work with large enterprises from IWG plc to SAP & UK Power Networks, to build future ready digital experiences, products and capabilities. We’re a 100 strong agency working across strategy, consultancy, design, engineering and project management with offices in Newcastle, London, Valencia, Cape Town, Lahore, Cairo and Poznan.
As a Marketing and Growth Executive, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our marketing and sales efforts. This position offers a broad opportunity to contribute to multiple aspects of our agency's growth, from hands on operational and campaign support in marketing, to proactive involvement in sales initiatives.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Marketing
- Work with Head of Marketing to pinpoint the best hooks and develop them into campaigns.
- Write, curate and develop content for emails, landing pages and other campaign assets through our CRM, HubSpot.
- Support with production of video content, including coordinating diaries and locations, working with videographers and storyboarding.
- Provide operational support, including writing briefs for in-house designers, research, event planning and administration and other ad-hoc tasks.
- Coordinating cross-channel social media production and posting.
- Take ownership of our agency website, ensuring it is consistently updated and fresh.
- Identify trends and current affairs that could inspire relevant content and produce it.
- Assist in coordination of award entries.
- Support outbound sales efforts and create personalised messages using platforms such as LinkedIn and email.
- Conduct background research on potential clients and companies.
- Keep abreast of industry trends relevant to our target audience and use them.
- Work across growth and marketing to manage the CRM, producing relevant lists and ensuring general data cleanliness.
What we are looking for:
We are seeking an individual who is passionate about both marketing and sales, with a strong desire to learn and grow within the agency. We genuinely believe this role will offer the right individual lots of hands-on learning opportunities across both disciplines. The role would be perfectly suited for a self-starter; an individual who has some hands-on marketing and growth experience (at any level) and a hunger to learn would be our ideal.
So, whilst you may not have tons of experience, we will look for the following in abundance:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - you will be expected to write compelling messages and content that are all on brand across multiple channels to a diverse range of audiences.
- Strong organisational abilities - you can effectively manage your time, multitask and prioritise.
- Strong attention to detail - what you will be producing will directly reflect on the agency.
- Eagerness to learn, ask questions and adapt – you’ll give everything a go, but you’ll also confidently put your hand up if you’re unsure about something.
- A creative edge – your creative eye will help us cut through the noise and stand out in the marketplace.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience working with Hubspot and/or other CRM/email marketing tools.
- Experience working with Figma and/or other design tools.
- Experience working with Umbraco and/or other web management platforms.
- Experience working with Jira and/or other project management tools.
- Experience driving outbound sales campaigns through LinkedIn/email.
- Worked in a marketing or sales role before.
- Managed or coordinated digital campaigns.
