Our partner is looking for an ambitious and proactive Sales Development Representative to join their growing sales team, supporting continued expansion within the UK market. This role plays a critical part in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, acting as the first point of contact for prospective customers.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their sales career who is motivated by results, enjoys outbound activity, and wants to build a strong foundation in a fast-moving, technology-led environment. Candidates must be based in or near Reading and able to attend the office twice per week.

Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential SMB and mid-market customers through inbound lead review and outbound prospecting.
- Outbound Outreach: Proactively engage prospects via email, phone, and social channels to generate interest and uncover business needs.
- Meeting Qualification: Schedule product demonstrations and discovery calls between qualified prospects and sales representatives.
- Campaign Execution: Support and execute creative outbound campaigns across email and social media to attract new prospects.
- Pipeline Management: Build and manage a healthy pipeline of opportunities, ensuring accurate tracking of lead progress.
- CRM Management: Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions using CRM tools.
- Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the wider sales team to ensure a smooth handover of qualified opportunities and contribute to overall revenue growth.
- Market Awareness: Develop an understanding of customer challenges, industry trends, and competitive positioning to continuously improve outreach quality and relevance.
About You:
- Experience: In B2B sales, lead generation, or business development role, ideally within fintech, financial services, or SaaS. Internship experience also considered for highly motivated candidates.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Curiosity and Drive: A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to handle rejection while maintaining energy and professionalism.
- Cultural Awareness: Familiarity with or interest in UK business practices and the London fintech ecosystem is preferred.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, follow up effectively, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred, but not required with relevant experience.
