Contract: Full time

Location: London / Hybrid 2-3 days in office

Salary: £30k-£60k + Commission

We are looking for future Business Development Representatives as Tangent expands across London, Europe and the US. We are looking for graduates, non‑graduates and career changers. No previous sales experience or degree is required.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead Generation: Proactively identify and research potential client companies who would benefit from Tangent’s services.
  • Outreach: Engage target accounts via cold calling, email campaigns and social media.
  • Qualification: Assess leads based on their needs and suitability for Tangent’s offering.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers in client organisations.
  • Pipeline Management: Keep accurate records of all activities and opportunities in our CRM system.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the marketing and sales teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activity.

What we’re looking for:

  • No prior sales experience needed, but a strong interest in sales, business development, or tech.
  • Confident communicator who can build rapport quickly.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and resilient with a positive attitude to outreach.
  • Organised and metrics‑driven, comfortable managing time and hitting targets.
  • Eager to learn, receptive to feedback, and able to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Right to work in the UK (unfortunately we can’t offer visa sponsorship right now).
