Tangent International is urgently hiring Radio Field Engineers for 4-month rolling contracts in the UK. This role is essential for delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining and troubleshooting telecom systems in compliance with safety and quality standards.

As a Radio Field Engineer, you will work on-site to maintain and optimize telecom systems, including RF transmission and power systems. You will handle BTS/RAN and microwave equipment from major vendors, ensuring network reliability and performance. This position offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies and requires a high level of professionalism and customer focus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service while adhering to safety standards.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot AC/DC power systems and rectification units.
  • Perform O&M on BTS/RAN and microwave radio systems.
  • Work at heights for equipment installation and maintenance.
  • Ensure timely fault resolution and network performance optimization.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong understanding of telecom systems and RF principles.
  • Knowledge of AC/DC power systems (single-phase and three-phase).
  • Expertise in RF transmission and receiver systems for mobile communication.
  • Familiarity with GSM, UMTS, LTE fundamentals and cellular network architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with BTS/RAN and microwave radio equipment.
  • Ability to work at heights (climber certification preferred).
  • Experience with Huawei BTS, Ericsson Radio System, Nokia Airscale, and Siae microwave equipment.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Knowledge of spectrum allocation, modulation techniques, and mobility management.
  • Familiarity with fault-finding tools and safety equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Previous experience in provincial-level telecom projects.
