Tangent International are urgently looking for a PR Manager to work a 12 month rolling contract based in London (Victoria)
Summary
– We are looking for a suitable candidate for International PR Manager position at our client who are a Consumer Business Group.
– Candidate would be in charge of PR/communications management, including media relations and strategy implementation, for the world’s most influential consumer technology journalists and influencers.
– The role is part of the International Media Team based in London, but also covers responsibility for PR implementation within the UK.
– Reporting in to the Head of International Media (also based in London), the team works very closely with the HQ comms team in China.
Job Requirements
– Exceptional media relationships with technology journalists working for leading tech publications, as well as technology influencers.
– Have at least 5 years experience working as a PR specialist in consumer technology sector.
– Be passionate about technology and its ability to change the world for the better.
Main Responsibilities
– Manage proactive and reactive media relations; maintain excellent relationships with key global media targets and influencers.
– Devise and implement PR and communication plans, optimizing global plans for overseas use.
– Manage award-winning product review programs.
– Plan and supervise media trips, events, fairs, conferences etc.
– Manage PR and events agencies.
– Prepare/optimize media materials, including press releases, speeches and other PR copy.
– Manage celebrity ambassadors.
– Keep up to date with industry best practice and monitoring PR activities of competitors.
– Support HQ/regional/UK marketing teams to create and deliver integrated (PR-led) marketing programs.
– Paid PR and influencer strategy, management and evaluation.
– Reporting and measurement.
