Tangent International are urgently looking for a NPO Technical Manager (Nokia Equipment) to work a 6 month rolling contract based in the United Kingdom (REMOTE).
As an NPO Technical Manager, you will be responsible for the management of all the Network Planning and Optimization technical activities defined in the Customer contract in terms of quality, risk, and time. You will report to the NPO PM and will act as primary NPO technical interface and first technical escalation point within the Customer project for Performance aspects.
As part of our team, you will:
- Be the primary technical contact and reference person in NPO projects or services.
- Work together with Project management and technical staff.
- Ensure operational continuity and smooth execution as well as network availability by implementing proactively BG/BL guidelines and PM@Nokia Methodology.
- Support Project Execution Owner (PEO) in project planning and delivery Acceptance.
- Validate the workload involved and expertise needed related to NPO technical tasks.
- Identify new NPO related opportunities to expand contracts with the customer.
- Coordinate radio network optimization team in terms of performance on Stability, THP DL/UL; Coverage and Latency.
- Do detailed analysis/recommendations to improve performance based on the Drive Tests results/measurements.
- Coordinate performance-related work with field team (Drive Test team) as well as local team/TPM.
- Analysis of Single Site DT and cluster drive test report and correlation with acceptance KPIs and contractual KPIs.
- Organize Network Audits (feature Audit, license audit and/or neighbour audit) using Nokia NPO tools.
- Optimize the capacity of the network to meet contractual KPIs and customer requirements.
- Ensure that Design, Databuild & Optimization guarantee the radio network solution according to the Customer Expectations.
- Drive and lead the Network Planning and Optimization team to validate and get the acceptance of the Clusters and Sites.
- Get the final approval on the optimized E2E network solution.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of proven radio network performance and optimization experience, e2e delivering to an external end-customer.
- 3+ years of technical project management in the NPO area or team leading with customer interface role, and/or solution consulting for radio network technologies on NPO area.
- Strong knowledge of Nokia parameters and protocols in all Radio technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, CRAN, ORAN).
- Good knowledge of Nokia NPO tools and processes.
- NOKIA RAN portfolio knowledge: Netact, SRAN, MRBTS, Airscale BTS, Controllers, NPO services.

- The role is remote with occasional travel to office or customer premises.
- The position is OUTSIDE IR35.
