Tangent International are urgently looking for IMS E2E Testers to work a 2 year rolling contract based in United Kingdom (Reading).
The Scope of Work describes the activities associated with e2e test activities to be completed as part of the Strategic project. The Supplier shall provide support for the execution of implementation and testing in the Vendors project at the Operator.
- Primary Scope of the Project: Perform E2E Testing in the IMS, EPC, 5G (Core) and SDM domains.
- Testing Support: Support to deploy and maintain the Test automation framework and Remote manual testing platform, and Defect Handling of the complete solution on 4 Test Beds and 3 Datacenters (Production sites).
- A cloud core solution is being installed and delivered, including but not limited to IMS and EPC, which is the subject of test management.
- The work relates to end-to-end test management in the test environment and Operational Acceptance Testing in the production environment, both crucial steps in acceptance by the customer.
- Testing related defect follow-up need to be managed which includes providing logs with detailed information, retesting and bugfix verifications until closure.
- As the new core will be interlinked with the currently live operational network, care must be taken not to break any systems to avoid impact on actual end users.
- This activity requires onsite testing and liaising with the operator, Other OPCOs and Internal vendor Teams as per project requirements.
- This involves multiple Test cases related to Voice wherein we must confirm voice quality in real time to peer operators.
- Need onsite support engineer for executing related tasks.
- Responsibilities during the E2E Testing shared over testing team:
- Prepare test cases / acceptance test description.
- Support installation of Test automation framework at test bed.
- Support installation of Remote manual testing platform for test bed and production sites.
- Prepare migration and rollout strategy if applicable.
- Provide input for the Test planning to Nokia managers.
- Execute the test cases in the Cloudification of lab.
- Interface and work together with other teams for coordinating test execution (especially disruptive tests) and for the defect’s clarification and resolution.
- Providing requirements for test data setup.
- Logging and tracking evidence during test execution.
- Logging details for defects using Customer agreed tools to be used for testing.
PLEASE NOTE: The role is inside IR35 and you will be based in the Reading office.
