We are looking for experienced Radio Field Engineers to support BTS/RAN and microwave operations across South London and surrounding areas. This role is essential for maintaining and optimizing network infrastructure for leading telecom vendors.
Position Summary
As a Radio Field Engineer, you will be responsible for on-site operations and maintenance of BTS/RAN equipment and microwave links. You will work on major vendor systems including Huawei, Ericsson, and Nokia, ensuring network reliability and performance. The position requires climbing and working at heights, so safety and technical expertise are paramount. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast‑paced environment supporting critical telecom infrastructure across Kent, South London, and Sussex.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform O&M activities on BTS/RAN and microwave radio systems
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Huawei, Ericsson, and Nokia Airscale equipment
- Maintain and repair Siae microwave links
- Conduct site surveys and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with network teams to resolve field issues promptly
- Document work performed and provide detailed reports
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in BTS/RAN and microwave O&M
- Familiarity with Huawei BTS, Ericsson Radio System, and Nokia Airscale
- Experience with Siae microwave equipment
- Certified climber with ability to work at heights
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Must be UK‑based and eligible to work inside IR35

- Knowledge of fiber backhaul integration
