We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Consultant Payment Specialist to join our team in Billericay. This is a full-time, office-based role responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of consultant payments, while maintaining compliance with internal procedures and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input and process consultant timesheets, expenses, and invoices
  • Manage and process weekly/monthly consultant payroll
  • Trigger final pay flags and ensure all exit processes are completed correctly
  • Consolidate and maintain exit documentation for departing consultants
  • Update and maintain timesheet trackers and internal records
  • Verify new management suppliers, ensuring all required documentation is complete and compliant
  • Liaise with internal teams and consultants to resolve any payment or documentation queries
  • Ensure all processes are completed in line with company policies and deadlines

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in payroll, finance administration, or a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Desirable:

  • Experience working with contractor/consultant payroll
  • Familiarity with timesheet and expense management systems
