OVERVIEW: This role is working on a hybrid basis with the office location in Billericay, Essex. 1-2 days in the office with the option of full flexibility depending on experience. The Candidate Success Manager will play a major part in ensuring a perfect meeting of minds between prospective employer and prospective candidate whilst also contributing to the evolution and prosperity of the business from an administrative and creative point of view. This is achieved, in no small part, through their passion for the business, and their matching actions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Candidate Success Manager role is still classed as an ‘entry level’ position and offers the opportunity for fast-track development into Senior Candidate Success Manager. The Candidate Success Manager is someone that uses a number of techniques/tools to find candidates that match specific customer requirements. The duties are as follows:

  • Setting up online ‘searches’ in order to resource and research for candidates from the Tangent proprietary database
  • Setting up online ‘searches’ in order to resource and research for candidates from multi online channels including job boards and social media
  • Resourcing and researching for candidates using networking techniques with existing candidates
  • Formatting candidate cv’s/resumes in preparation for them to be sent to Tangent clients
  • Negotiating with candidates to achieve ‘satisfactory’ or, where possible ‘best’ rates/fees/salary requirements
  • Updating of proprietary candidate database
  • Posting job adverts on job boards
  • Emailing candidates to clients
  • Negotiating offers with candidates
  • Telephone contact with clients to arrange interviews
  • Customer visits with manager
  • Some contractor care responsibilities
  • Some logistics support contractors in field (flights, accommodation etc.)
  • Lead generation
  • General administration duties as tasked by manager/s
  • Understand and demonstrate the principles of the Company’s Mission, Vision, and Values
