English Teacher with Potential for Professional Development Lead

Salary Main Scale to UPS3 + possibility of TLR2

We are looking to appoint an English Teacher, a role that is open to candidates at all levels of experience. For those with the appropriate experience and expertise, there is also the opportunity to take on the additional responsibility of a Lead Practitioner role, which would include a TLR2 allowance. This provides a fantastic chance for the right candidate to further their career while contributing significantly to the development of our English department.

The English Department is a large department, comprising ten subject specialists. The department offers English and English Literature at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, including GCSE English and GCSE English Literature. English Literature is offered at A Level. We are committed to sharing our passion for the subject and take pride in promoting a love of Literature and encouraging students to relish the infinite complexity of language.
