The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented and passionate Senior Interior Design Associate to join a vibrant team in Canary Wharf, London. Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Associate, Design, your responsibilities will include:
- Project Leadership: Leading design efforts for assigned projects, from initial client brief to final handover, ensuring design excellence and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Concept Development: Developing strong conceptual designs that align with client objectives, brand identity, and the firm\βs design principles.
- Client Engagement & Pitching: Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a primary design contact, and effectively presenting and pitching design solutions and technical information to secure new opportunities.
- Design Documentation: Producing comprehensive design documentation, including space plans, elevations, sections, details, finishes, and furniture specifications, using relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Technical Proficiency: Ensuring design solutions are technically feasible, compliant with relevant building codes and regulations, and integrate seamlessly with other disciplines (e.g., M&E, structural).
- Team Management & Mentorship: Managing project design teams, providing guidance, fostering skill development, and offering constructive feedback to junior designers, cultivating a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Quality Assurance: Maintaining high standards of design quality and accuracy across all project phases.
- Research & Development: Staying current with industry trends, materials, technologies, and best practices in workplace design.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor\βs or Master\βs degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
