Are you an experienced retail leader with a passion for the outdoors? We’re looking for a Store Manager to lead our flagship location in Ambleside, right in the heart of the Lake District. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a trusted and growing outdoor retail group with a loyal customer base and a passionate, knowledgeable team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and motivating your team to deliver an exceptional customer experience
- Managing all operational aspects of the store including stock, banking, and compliance
- Driving performance through clear analysis of KPIs and metrics
- Supporting the development and progression of your team
- Recruiting and onboarding new team members with support from our People Team
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience running a store, including budget, planning and operations
- Can lead a high-performing, customer-focused team
- Brings energy, passion, and a love for the outdoors
- Is confident in managing KPIs and driving commercial success

- Salary of £29,000-£30,000 + up to £4,250 bonus
