We’re looking for an experienced Document Controller to join a large-scale workplace fit-out project in London, supporting a busy live scheme through a critical delivery phase. This is a fast-paced, high-volume role embedded within a major commercial interiors project, working closely with delivery, design, and site teams to keep information flowing accurately and efficiently across the programme.
The successful candidate will step into a project environment with a huge amount of activity — including 1,000+ drawing and technical submittals across the life of the scheme — so we need someone who is organised, proactive, and comfortable operating at pace.
The Role- You’ll take ownership of document control across a major live workplace interiors project, ensuring all technical documentation is managed accurately and efficiently throughout delivery.
- Manage and maintain all project documentation and drawing registers.
- Control the flow of technical information between consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Process and track high volumes of drawings, RFIs, and technical submittals.
- Ensure all documentation is correctly uploaded, distributed, and archived.
- Maintain revision control and document compliance across the project.
- Support delivery teams with accurate reporting and document tracking.
- Work closely with site and project teams to support programme requirements and deadlines.
- Proven experience as a Document Controller within commercial fit-out, workplace interiors, or construction environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Procore (essential).
- Good understanding of construction and technical documentation workflows.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working within a fast-moving live project environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
- Able to start quickly and commit through to the end of the year.
- Join a major London workplace fit-out project.
- Be embedded on a single large-scale live scheme.
- Hybrid working split between site and remote (roughly 2–3 days either way depending on project requirements).
- Contract running through to end of 2026.
- Immediate / late-May start available.
If you’re a Document Controller with strong Procore experience and a background in commercial interiors or construction delivery, this is a great opportunity to join a major live project at a critical stage.
