HR Advisor
Tandem Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HR Advisor to join their established HR team based in Kettering.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Reporting directly to the HR Director, you'll play a key role in supporting the business across the full employee lifecycle while contributing to a wide range of HR initiatives.

The Role
- As HR Advisor, you will provide comprehensive HR support across the business, including:
- Supporting the full recruitment process, including liaising with candidates, managing recruitment agencies, preparing adverts, shortlisting, arranging interviews and issuing offer documentation.
- Preparing accurate HR documentation in a timely manner.
- Managing key employee lifecycle processes including starters, leavers, contractual changes and employee benefits.
- Coordinating onboarding and induction programmes for new employees.
- Managing absence administration using the Bradford Factor.
- Supporting internal and external training and development activities.
- Maintaining employee records within the integrated HR and Payroll system (Cascade).
- Managing and updating the Time & Attendance system (Tensor).
- Assisting the HR Director with HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supporting organisational change processes including redundancy consultations and TUPE transfers where required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have
- A CIPD qualification.
- Previous experience working within a small HR team.
- Experience using an integrated HR and Payroll system.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing business priorities.
- A proactive and professional approach to problem-solving.
