Our client is looking for a skilled Electrical Assembler to join their team based near Wellingborough, supporting the build and assembly of bespoke machinery. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong experience in electrical wiring, panel building and working from engineering drawings. You will play a key part in delivering high-quality, custom-built equipment to meet customer specifications.
Your responsibilities as an Electrical Assembler:
- Assemble and wire electrical components and control panels for bespoke machines
- Interpret and work accurately from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical drawings
- Build and install electrical systems including cabling, looms and enclosures
- Conduct basic testing and fault-finding to ensure functionality and safety
- Work closely with engineers and mechanical assembly teams during machine builds
- Ensure all work is completed to high quality standards and in line with company procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
To be successful as an Electrical Assembler you will have:
- Proven experience in an electrical assembly or wiring role
- Ability to confidently read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Experience wiring and assembling bespoke or custom-built machinery
- Good understanding of electrical components and systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
