Our client is looking for a skilled Electrical Assembler to join their team based near Wellingborough, supporting the build and assembly of bespoke machinery. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong experience in electrical wiring, panel building and working from engineering drawings. You will play a key part in delivering high-quality, custom-built equipment to meet customer specifications.

Your responsibilities as an Electrical Assembler:

  • Assemble and wire electrical components and control panels for bespoke machines
  • Interpret and work accurately from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical drawings
  • Build and install electrical systems including cabling, looms and enclosures
  • Conduct basic testing and fault-finding to ensure functionality and safety
  • Work closely with engineers and mechanical assembly teams during machine builds
  • Ensure all work is completed to high quality standards and in line with company procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

To be successful as an Electrical Assembler you will have:

  • Proven experience in an electrical assembly or wiring role
  • Ability to confidently read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
  • Experience wiring and assembling bespoke or custom-built machinery
