Role: Internal Account Manager
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am
5.30pm site based.
We are looking for an Internal Account Manager to be based in Wellingborough, working at the heart of our internal customer service and account management team.
This role sits at the centre of the order journey
raising and processing customer orders, managing allocated accounts, and working seamlessly with colleagues across the business.
Youll be the day-to-day point of contact for a portfolio of accounts, making sure every order moves smoothly from enquiry through to delivery.
We operate in a fast-paced environment, so you must be able to work well within a team and on your own initiative to meet our customers requirements.
Youll use our purpose-built, user-friendly management system to manage orders and account data, with full training provided.

Key Responsibilities Order Raising & Processing
Handle and refer incoming customer enquiries by phone and email.
Process incoming orders accurately and efficiently.
Manage order data using our internal management system (full training provided).
Coordinate any customer-requested changes with the relevant internal departments.
Track and monitor customer deliveries, keeping customers updated at every stage.
Prepare and send relevant samples or supporting materials to customers.
Internal Account Management
Support the internal team to keep customer orders and projects on track.
Assist with new product or service introductions where required.
Work with other departments to help deliver customer presentations when needed.
Manage projects through to agreed deadlines and ensure timely completion.
Skills & Requirements
A strong customer focus, with proven account management and customer interaction skills.
Good telephone manner.
Excellent administration skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
A motivated and conscientious work ethic.
A proactive, problem-solving approach.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and see projects through to controlled deadlines.
Previous customer service or account management experience is preferable.
