We are recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join a growing manufacturing business. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain function, ensuring materials, suppliers, inventory, and logistics operations support the efficient delivery of customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the company’s supply chain strategy and processes
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with new and existing suppliers
- Build strong supplier relationships and manage supplier performance
- Negotiate contracts and service level agreements
- Manage inventory levels to ensure material availability while minimising excess stock
- Monitor and report on supply chain KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Oversee purchasing activities and ensure timely processing of requisitions
- Manage third-party logistics providers and stock holdings
- Lead, develop, and support the Supply Chain Administration team
- Work closely with Operations, Production, Planning, Engineering, Sales, and Finance to ensure smooth business operations
