Receptionist required (flexible hours) for ongoing temporary contract with our client based in a brand new, state of the art healthcare clinic situated in Ipswich. Providing reception, administrative and clerical support to the wider team. Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming and receiving service users into the clinic
- Dealing with telephone and face to face enquiries in a professional and empathetic manner
- Making, changing and updating appointments for service users
- Explaining NHS service user charges using professional judgement and empathy when there may be barriers to understanding
- Providing advice and information to service users ensuring that leaflets and all information presented is current
- Work collaboratively with the team, senior leaders and wider colleagues to maintain the effective running of the clinic
The successful candidate will have previous reception experience, ideally within healthcare or similar environment, together with strong IT skills and the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Standard hours are 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday; however, there is flexibility to work 9.30am-2.30pm or hours that include evenings and Saturdays. Hourly rate £12.31 per hour. Basic DBS required. There is a good chance of the role becoming permanent for the right person.
