Spares Co-ordinator required for long established engineering company based near Diss. Working in the spares department as part of the after sales team, the successful candidate will undertake a varied role with responsibility for taking and processing orders for spare parts.
Duties will include:
- Processing customer enquiries via phone or email for spares
- Owning end-to-end sales process for spares, including liaising with customers and suppliers
- Requesting quotes from suppliers and processing purchase to the best price and quality
- Producing quotations and following them up
- Converting enquiries to sales order
- Maintaining relationships with existing customers and ensuring their needs are met
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in a similar role with manufacturing/engineering knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- IT skills must include Word, Excel, email and be familiar with MRP systems
